National Imaging Informatics Course
Register to attend the National Imaging Informatics Course-Radiology (NIIC-RAD), a weeklong online course introducing the fundamentals of imaging informatics. The first term will be held Sept. 19-23, 2022. The second term will be held March 6-10, 2023. NIIC-RAD is made possible through a partnership between RSNA and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM). Register at https://siim.org/page/niic.
Program: Value of Imaging through Comparative Effectiveness (VOICE) Program
Develop the knowledge and skills to elicit the value and cost-effectiveness of diagnostic imaging procedures and imaging-based procedures in the RSNA VOICE program. Over the course of nine months, beginning in September, radiologists and radiation oncologists at all levels of clinical experience will participate in one interactive, in-person workshop held Sept. 23–24 at RSNA headquarters in Oak Brook, IL, and a series of virtual sessions held Feb. 24–25, 2023.
The registration fee is $975 for members, $1,200 for nonmembers and $488 for trainees.

NIH Grantsmanship Workshop at RSNA 2022

The NIH Grantsmanship Workshop introduces participants to the process of preparing a competitive research or training grant application. Designed for junior faculty in academic centers who wish to pursue a career in radiologic research, this didactic workshop will cover elements of a good grant proposal, understanding the review process and planning the proposal. Program: Comparative Effectiveness Research Training (CERT) Program
Registration deadline: August 15
Applications are being accepted for the CERT program, jointly sponsored by RSNA, the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), the Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation (SIRF) and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). CERT is an interactive course in comparative effectiveness research (CER) designed for junior faculty and senior trainees in the imaging sciences. International radiologists as well as mid- to senior-level faculty will also be considered.
The program consists of a combination of online modules, a 1 ½-day in-person workshop held Feb. 3-4, 2023, web-based didactic lectures and small group, web-based grant proposal review discussions.

Writing a Competitive Grant Proposal Workshop

Registration will open in September for the Writing a Competitive Grant Workshop designed for researchers in radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine and related sciences who are interested in actively pursuing federal funding. This 1 ½ -day program is guided by a faculty of leading researchers with extensive experience in all aspects of grant applications and funding. Using a combination of instruction and interactive small group sessions, the workshop will provide guidance on writing grant applications with an emphasis on reviewing your specific aims.
