Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award

This award allows residency program directors and department chairs to recognize outstanding residents and fellows who’ve advanced radiologic research.

Recipients of this award have published in peer-reviewed journals, presented work at regional and national meetings, received a research grant or contributed to the success of a departmental research program.

The award

Participating North American residency programs receive award plaques with space to display nameplates for each year’s recipient. In addition, we provide a personalized award for the department to present to the selected resident or fellow.

Eligibility

The Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award is open to all North American institutions with an ACGME-approved program. All institutions must follow these guidelines:

  • Nominations are limited to one resident or fellow per radiology, radiation oncology or nuclear medicine program per year.
  • The program director or department chair must select the resident or fellow to receive the award.

Nomination procedure

Nominations must be received by April 1st, or the next business day if this date falls on a weekend or holiday.
