Foundation committees
Consider volunteering on a Foundation committee. Committees review specific programs, make recommendations for new programming and provide status reports to the board of trustees. Contact sleach@rsna.org to get involved.
- Finance committee: Responsible for all issues and practices that impact the finances of the Foundation, including monitoring the performance of the invested assets, the revenues and expenses and the ratio of administrative expenses to grant program expenses.
- Fund development committee: Responsible for developing and recommending all fundraising programs of the Foundation.
- Radiology research faculty grant study section: Responsible for evaluating, scoring and providing written critiques for the Foundation's Research Scholar and Research Seed Grant applications. Study section members review applications, prepare written reviews, submit preliminary scores for assigned grant applications and attend a virtual or in-person study section meeting to discuss and score all Foundation research grant applications.
- Radiology research trainee grant study section: Responsible for evaluating, scoring, and providing written critiques for the Foundation's Resident/Fellow Research Grant applications. Study section members review grant applications, prepare written reviews, submit preliminary scores for assigned grant applications, and attend a virtual or in-person section meeting to discuss and score all Foundation research grant applications.
- Radiation oncology research study section: Responsible for evaluating, scoring and providing written critiques for the Foundation's radiation oncology research grant applications. Study section members review grant applications, prepare written reviews and submit preliminary scores for assigned grant applications, and attend a virtual or in-person section meeting to discuss and score all Foundation radiation oncology research grant applications.
- Education study section: Responsible for reviewing and scoring applications for the Foundation's education grant programs. Study section members review grant applications, prepare written reviews and submit preliminary scores for assigned grant applications, and attend a virtual or in-person study section meeting to discuss and score the education grant applications.
- Medical student grant review panel: Responsible for reviewing applications and making funding recommendations for the Foundation's Medical Student Research Grant applications.
- Public relations committee: Responsible for all public relations activities of the Foundation. The committee works in conjunction with other Foundation committees to develop and recommend public relations activities for promoting programs.
