Attend short interactive lectures, participate in small group discussions with other early-career professionals and learn best practices to boost your career in academic or private practice settings.

Learning objectives

Detail early career decisions that lead to future success and promotion along academic, private practice and non-traditional career pathways in radiology.
Identify how, as a learner, to transition from directed to self-directed learning and how, as a teacher, to implement best practices in radiology education, particularly for millennial learners.
Explain various ways early career radiologists can care for and advance the care of underserved populations.
Consider early career challenges, including heavy workload, burnout, adverse outcomes and transitions (both anticipated and unexpected) to avoid common pitfalls and to be best prepared when challenges arise.
Explain how innovative teaching methods and RSNA can be useful for career advancement.
